Allow hair to be at least 1/4 inch long for effective waxing. Avoid exfoliating or tanning the area 24–48 hours before. Clean skin and avoid heavy creams; inform your esthetician of medications or sensitivities.

Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, saunas, and heavy makeup for 24 hours. Apply a soothing aloe or antibacterial ointment if needed. Gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and keep the area moisturized.

Most clients return every three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth and desired smoothness. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and produce finer hair. Your esthetician will recommend the ideal schedule during consultation.

Contraindications include recent retinoid or chemical peel use, active cold sores, open wounds, severe acne, or sunburn. Certain medications and skin conditions may increase sensitivity. Disclose medical history and medications so we can advise or recommend alternative hair removal.

We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying heavy makeup to reduce irritation and infection risk. If necessary, use minimal, non-comedogenic products and clean brushes. Follow your esthetician’s post-care recommendations for best healing and appearance.
